HULLABALOO! LES KITSCHENETTES, Twin Guns, Electric Mess, Jigglers @LOCAL269
It's time once again to raise a right Hullabaloo, this time on 'Thursday Night/Party Night' to celebrate a special occasion-- the French are coming! Yes, our galllic comrades, LES KITSCHENETTE'S, are coming to New York to play two shows with us and sneer at our lack of civilization. This groovy bunch, who call Normandy home, are set to reverse D-Day (sort of) by landing on our shores with their one woman/fiv...e man garage pop army!
Tonight's outing might be sub-titled "L.E.S. Terribles" (get it?!) as it's also our first ever wing ding at Lower East Side rock bar haven LOCAL 269. We're pleased as punch to welcome our Frenchie Friends by forcing them to run the local gauntlet of garage rock: from the uncivilized skronk of the JIGGLERS to the Sunset Strip slap of the ELECTRIC MESS through the psychic shock of TWIN GUNS.
Despite it being 'Party Night', this shindig will get going at 9 sharp-- so get there early and drink quickly! Remember, the faster you drink, the quicker you pass out! (and we know how important those Zzzz's are before your 8AM wakeup).
So, doors at 9. $5 cover. SEE YOU THERE!
