WORD: Naked Girls Reading presents Love Stinks
http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/146665
An all-new evening of in-the-buff readings of some of literature's greatest heartbreaks. Nasty Canasta is joined by burlesque superstars Bunny Love and Peekaboo Pointe, plus The Naked Librarian, and Barbara Gordon (yes, she's an actual librarian!), as the Naked Girls tackle Valentines' Day fallout in the best way possible: with gorgeous naked women reading from some of the best stories of failed romance ever written. Featured pieces will include selections from Huffington Post bad boy Andrew Shaffer's latest book Great Philosophers Who Failed At Love; anti-love poetry by William Shakespeare and Elizabeth Barrett Browning; breakup letters collected by the Naked Girls themselves and more. Guests to the salon are invited to relax in the plush velvet upstairs lounge at Madame X and sip a drink (sample the Grudge F**k, a cocktail specially created to compliment the poetry of heartache!) as Nasty, Bunny, Peekaboo and Barbara celebrate the literature of lost love. (Madame X, 94 W. H

WORD: Stripped Stories
http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/2326
Every month Giulia Rozzi (MTV, VH1.com) & Margot Leitman (Spike TV, VH1) invite comedians, musicians and guests to reveal hysterically honest stories about their sex lives. Giulia and Margot will also each reveal their own juicy stories amidst games, audience interviews and hookups... hopefully. With a combined resume which includes appearances on NBC, ABC, Vh1, MTV, Comedy Central, AMC, ESPN, E!, various guest radio spots, and features in Glamour and Playgirl Magazine, Giulia and Margot easily blended their love of stories, silliness and sex to create Stripped Stories. This themed night of hilarious sex stories has been playing monthly to sold-out audiences since it first began in January 2007. With guests spanning from award winning comedians to regular folks who have never set foot on a stage, Stripped Stories pleases both critics and audience members alike. Each month Giulia and Margot enable audience members to laugh at their own sexual misadventures via the brave guests
who bare their souls on stage. With rave reviews from Time Out NY, The Village Voice, Nerve.com and many others, Stripped Stories is rapidly becoming a must see comedy event (with an after party not-to-miss). With: Michele Carlo (Fish Out Of Aqua, The Moth), Kurt Braunohler ( Montreal Comedy Festival, Vh1), and music by Ben Lerman (Logo TV, Sirius). (UCB Theater, 307 W. 26th Street, 9pm, $5)
